Kristen Kereluik is a doctoral student in the department of Educational Psychology and Educational Technology in the College of Education at Michigan State University. My field of study is digital literacy and teaching and learning in contexts mediated by technology, and my particular area of interest is adolescents’ formal and informal use of the Internet to achieve their learning goals. Conversely and complimentarily, I am also interested in how teachers teach digital literacy skills to students and how they conceive of their own abilities to use the Internet for instructional purposes.
